Evaluation Policy
1. Introduction
At The REH Academy, we recognize that the evaluation of our training activities is a critical process for improving the quality of our eLearning programs. The feedback we collect from learners helps us assess whether the training has met its intended outcomes and enables us to make informed decisions about future course offerings, delivery methods, and overall learner experience.
This policy outlines the principles, objectives, and procedures for evaluating the effectiveness of the training activities offered by The REH Academy. It ensures that evaluations are carried out systematically and consistently to inform continuous improvement.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this Evaluation Policy is to:
- Establish a structured and transparent process for collecting and analysing feedback from learners.
- Ensure that feedback is used effectively to assess whether training has met its learning objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement and inform the development of future training sessions.
- Enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of the learning experience for all learners.
3. Scope
This policy applies to all training activities offered by The REH Academy, including:
- CPD accredited courses and programs.
- Online training modules and webinars.
- Instructor-led or live training sessions.
The policy applies to all learners enrolled in The REH Academy’s programs and includes feedback on course content, delivery, assessments, platform functionality, and learner support.
4. Evaluation Objectives
The main objectives of the evaluation process are to:
- Gather insights on whether the course content met learners' expectations and learning objectives.
- Measure the effectiveness of course delivery, including the clarity of the material, teaching methods, and the use of technology.
- Assess learners’ satisfaction with the overall learning experience.
- Identify any challenges or issues that learners encountered during the course.
- Collect feedback on the quality of support provided to learners throughout their training journey.
5. Evaluation Methods
To collect comprehensive and actionable feedback, The REH Academy will utilize the following evaluation methods:
- Post-Course Evaluation Forms: Learners will complete an evaluation form at the end of each course to assess various aspects of the training experience (content, delivery, assessment, etc.).
- Surveys: Periodic surveys may be sent to learners to gather broader feedback on specific areas or new course offerings.
- Interviews/Focus Groups: For deeper insights, interviews or focus groups may be conducted with selected learners to explore their learning experiences in more detail.
- Completion and Engagement Data: Analytics from the platform will be reviewed to assess learner engagement, completion rates, and other quantitative data that can provide insights into the effectiveness of the course.
6. Responsibilities
- Learners: Learners are encouraged to actively participate in the evaluation process by providing honest, constructive feedback through evaluation forms and surveys. Their feedback is essential for improving the quality of training.
- Course Instructors/Trainers: Instructors and trainers will support the evaluation process by encouraging learner participation and reflecting on the feedback to enhance future delivery.
- Course Developers/Content Creators: Content creators are responsible for reviewing feedback related to course material and making adjustments to the content when necessary to meet learner needs.
- The REH Academy Management: Management is responsible for overseeing the evaluation process, ensuring that feedback is reviewed, and making strategic decisions based on the findings. They are also responsible for implementing changes to improve the quality of future training.
7. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Feedback Review: All feedback collected through evaluations will be reviewed by the relevant stakeholders (course designers, instructors, and management) to identify patterns, common concerns, and areas for improvement.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Feedback will be used to make informed decisions about course revisions, updates to delivery methods, enhancements to the platform, and any other necessary adjustments.
- Continuous Improvement: The evaluation data will directly inform the continuous improvement cycle, ensuring that The REH Academy’s courses remain relevant, high-quality, and learner-centric.
8. Confidentiality and Anonymity
- Confidentiality: All feedback will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of improving training activities. Personal information will not be shared unless required by law or regulatory requirements.
- Anonymity: Learners may provide feedback anonymously if they prefer. In cases where learners are asked for identifying information, such as in follow-up interviews or focus groups, participation will be voluntary.
9. Feedback Implementation
- Action Plans: After collecting and analysing the evaluation data, The REH Academy will create action plans to address any areas identified for improvement. These plans will prioritize improvements based on the most common or critical feedback.
- Communication with Learners: Learners will be informed about the changes and improvements made as a result of their feedback. This helps reinforce the value of their input and shows a commitment to continuous improvement.
10. Review of Evaluation Policy
The effectiveness of this Evaluation Policy will be reviewed annually by The REH Academy’s management. The policy will be updated as necessary to ensure it remains aligned with best practices in learning and evaluation.
